Create your own whimsical cloudscape with this fat quarter and fat eighth friendly quilt pattern. Try it in cute prints as I have for a fun children's bed quilt, or try making the clouds in a variety of grey and white prints on a blue background for a more sophisticated option. Leave off the top and bottom borders if you like, and make yours a throw quilt.

I have written the pattern with the beginner in mind. You'll need to know how to use your sewing machine, be able to sew a consistent seam, and cut pieces with accuracy. The quilt finishes at approximately 60.5" x 84.5" or 1.53 metres wide by 2.15 metres tall.

Cloud fabric used in sample is Hidden Garden from Birch Fabrics. Background fabric is a Cirrus solid in Blush by Cloud 9 Fabrics.
